Bio
Udeme is a Ph.D. student at Purdue University's School of Engineering Education and serves as a junior senator representing Engineering Education in the Purdue Graduate Student Government. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology, Kaduna in 2016, and Bachelor of Engineering from the Federal University Oye-Ekiti in 2023 still in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Udeme has 13 years of professional experience in various engineering roles at Dangote Cement PLC, Obajana Plant, Nigeria. She is interested advancing ethics, DEI, and policies in engineering education, specifically, as it relates to women in engineering, minoritized and underrepresented groups.
She is passionate about helping others navigate their academic and career journey. In her free-time if she is not reading, she volunteers for several NGOs, mentoring, and coaching undergraduates, and early career starters, also organizing skills building seminars and webinars.
