Bio

Asem is a Ph.D. candidate in the School of Engineering Education and currently serves as the Lead Instructional Labs and Senior Design Projects Coordinator at the Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering at Purdue University. He also serves as the assessment coordinator for the school.

Asem received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Bioengineering from the University of Toledo. He also serves as an ABET program evaluator in BME. Asem is originally from Egypt and grew up in Perrysburg, Ohio. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Walaa, and their children, Farha and Ameer. They always look forward to their summer trips to Egypt.
